Bard Strengths and Weaknesses
Strengths
-Most support jobs enjoy faster party invitations than most other classes, Bards generally enjoy the fastest party invitations. Generally considered necessary for end-game activities.
-Terrific area of effect songs that can increase attack, accuracy, defense, haste, elemental resistance, status resistance, HP recovery over time, MP recovery over time, and movement speed in outdoor areas. Terrific single target songs that increase ranged accuracy and each of the seven main attributes. Only job that can give an area of effect reraise to party members.
-Tactical enfeebling spells that can greatly reduce an enemy's attack speed, act as a damage over time spell, or lower resistance to specific elemental resistances. Also able to charm enemies for a short period.
-One of the most inexpensive jobs to level.
Weaknesses
-Not very easy to solo.
-Can only keep two song effects on party members at any given time. (When an instrument is equipped.)
Acquisition
Bard is acquired by completing the Path of the Bard quest.
