Dynamis can be entered once every 72 hours, and requires a new Timeless Hourglass each run. Relic Armor, also known as AF2, drops from the various enemies encountered inside each zone.

A minimum level of 65 is also required to participate in Dynamis.

All players entering Dynamis must have the key item Vial of Shrouded Sand. Furthermore, for entry into Chains of Promathia Dynamis zones, clearance of Promathia Mission 3-5 is required. Other specific entry requirements and limitations for each zone are listed on the page for the zone.

Three ancient forms of currency also drop from the Dynamis areas. Ordelle Bronzepiece (San d'Oria), 1 Byne Bill (Bastok), and Tukuku Whiteshell (Windurst). These can be used to upgrade Relic Weapons.
